Shells on the beach

Playa Grande, Costa Rica

Playa Grande isn't much more than a few beach houses and a couple of small hotels. Much less touristy than Playa Tamarindo (derisively referred to as Tama-Gringo for all the Americans living and vacationing there).

 Playa Grande doesn't have a grocery store or a gas station. But you can take a stroll on the beach and watch the surfers, look for shells, or just watch the waves.

 Or you can do like me and take pictures of shells on the beach. They shells aren't anything rare or special, but they are somehow relaxing. Just like Playa Grande.
