Ehukai Beach aka Banzai Pipeline Part 2

It's a short walk from the parking lot to the beach
Last week I posted about our visit to Ehukai Beach aka the Banzai Pipeline, which is the location for some of the best surfing in the world.

On that day we didn't see any surfers because of the strong rip currents.

But, that was okay because we really enjoyed the pristine and practically deserted beach.

We went back to the North Shore and checked out the Banzai Pipeline again.

On this day, there weren't any rip currents, but lifeguards were cautioning people against swimming.

The beach was more crowded than our last visit and there were lots of surfers in the water.

If you go: There is a small parking lot next to the beach, but it can fill up fast. I recommend getting there early. Or, alternatively, you can park on the street, but be sure to check for No Parking signs as there are places, like in the adjacent neighborhood, where you are not allowed to park.
