Two Harbors Light, Minnesota

One of my favorite lighthouses in the midwest is Two Harbors Light. I like the design the square tower attached to the keeper's quarters. I like the bright red color. I like how beautifully the site has been restored.

But the reason it is my favorite is because the keeper's quarters is rented out as a B&B. Karen and I stayed there one night and we were the only ones staying there that night. Like a lot of lighthouses, there's rumors of the space being haunted which leads to a rather spooky feeling late at night when you're there all alone.

But, we loved staying there, and climbing the tower when no one is there, late at night was a lot of fun. Although I'm not really sure that you're supposed to do that.
