Absecom Lighthouse, Atlantic City, NJ

Absecon Lighthouse in Atlantic City is the tallest lighthouse in New Jersey. It's imposing conical masonry design stands at 171 feet.

When we visited, the area was fenced off and not accessible to visitors. However, the lighthouse and grounds are now open to the public.

You can climb the lighthouse for what, I imagine, is a great of Atlantic City and the ocean. There is also a replica of the lighthouse keeper's quarters that is a museum and gift shop.
